Around 80-85% Ethiopians are engaged in agriculture, mainly in subsistence and rain-fed farming and livestock 产品介绍ion. Despite this, around 35% of the population doesn’t have enough nutritious food to eat.
Frequent drought, a lack of training and equipment for farmers, and poor access to markets make it difficult for them to earn a living.
Farm Africa has worked in the landlocked country since 1988. From dairy goats and good-quality seeds to business training and forest conservation, we provide simple and practical support to help lift farmers and herders out of poverty.
